Continuing education is one of the core values of Farmers’ and we strive to offer a wide variety of both personal and professional development courses through various institutions and associations related to our field.

Development plans are prepared and monitored throughout the year with your manager and Human Resources to help you reach your goals and your full potential!

CIP and FCIP Courses

Through the Insurance Institute of Canada, we provide each employee with the opportunity to achieve their professional designation and provide support throughout this process. Through Farmers’ education policy, we pay for all resources required taking the course and upon achieving a successful mark we also provide an incentive for this achievement! Once the full designation has been completed you also receive a monetary incentive for your outstanding accomplishment!

Mentoring/ Coaching

For each new role an employee takes on, you will be supported and encouraged to ensure you can reach for the stars regardless of where you start. Our management team is comprised of successful professionals who know the insides/outsides of the industry and are willing to embark their wisdom upon those who wish to develop further!

Association Membership

Farmers’ supports memberships in all applicable associations that pertain to your field. We offer full compensation of all membership dues and support continued network and education with association meetings and events.
